RNA Extract protocol: Total RNA was isolated from 200 uL of the pooled plasma using miRNeasy Serum/Plasma Kit (QIAGEN, Hilden, Germany). RNA library preparation protocol: Cyanine 3-pCp-labeled microRNA was prepared from 2-uL of total RNA isolated from 200-uL of plasma, using Agilent's miRNA Complete Labeling and Hyb Kit (part number 5190-0456).
